Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, enhancing their communication and swallowing abilities. RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each resident.
Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment, and progress.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for a 13-week contract.
