Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, enhancing their communication and swallowing abilities. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each resident.

  • Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment, and progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for a 13-week contract.
